Hello, first thing you should check is if your door speaker is in a box or is in infinite baffle, as not all car speakers are infinite baffle. This will define what qtc you need. If it is infinite baffle, i highly recommend a car audio driver only due to the moisture and materials used for car audio being more weatherproof.
If you must use home audio speakers in car door, im general try to avoid foam surrounds, paper cones, and plastic baskets if you want it to last.

i guess my car's doors are infinite baffle because they have a lot of holes, the drivers i ordered are a mixture of kevlar, fiber-glass and paper i think
