CHN110 for hip-hop /rap bass drop duty?

two in a 38 liter reflex look potent - a decent - well tuned passive radiator might be the way to go. Would they noticeably "gargle" ?
- if so, I'd do it as a "FAST" with a paper cone above the 110 "subs".

I have Chn110 in a medcgr in less 20 liter with resisitive vent from dave and this speaker has some serious oomph. Electronic music is fun.

For Rap/Hip-Hop I would use the CHN110 as a mid-tweet with a 12" woofer. Why fool around. 😉

yeah - I would use my Alphalite 6B with a woofer and a tweeter but my friend intends to use if in a 19 liter box -maybe two in a 38 liter box with a passive radiator - he says it plays bass drops just fine.

@sdsddsd1 - tell me about your resistive vent - did you tune it via impedance testing? - How is it made? There's some plumbing drain grates which would look nice - I guess a piece of "hardware cloth " wedged in would compress fiberglass, etc. Does bonded Dacron work well for resistive vent duty?

Its a reflex with long aspect ratio pushing it more towards aperiodic from dave. Limiting extension in trade of more refined bass. No design by me. A normal reflex does reach lower. But given the nature of the 110 this is a bassable box. There are 3 different sizes available
