Just to make sure I understand, I should leave the pins 6 and 9 of both dac’s as they are. Only lift pin 10 of each dac and connect it to its corresponding pin 5.

Yes, that's my understanding of how to get twice the output current. Then parallel the Iouts of the L chan, ditto on the R chan.

I'm reporting back that the mod has worked perfectly with no issues.
As for sound, my first impression was that it has more bass than the dual TDA1541A or maybe more detail in the bass. I'll need a lot more listening hours with both DAC's to get an idea. Maybe the TDA is more balanced where the AD has a more pronounced bass.
