Those Sylvania Black-plate coin base 6v6GTAs are magic too....the highs are waay smoother and much more "alive" as well as a wild mid range with decent lows, the JJ6v6s had better lows but still the Sylvania blow the JJs away in harmonic content and smoothness. its just wicked these GEs must be special out of this big tube lot I scored, I had few old GEs before the 5 star 5751s/12ax7 and they didn't sound even close to these 12AT7s and a 12AY7 the Y7 looks really early I think it is special lol. The thing with GEs some are really awesome and others are not that great so I have heard.
