The majority of the expenses are usually the somewhat generic parts like the case, the heatsink, the power supply, etc. If you can build these with recycled parts you will save a lot. I always grab up old receivers/amplifiers whenever I see them for free heatsinks and transformers.

Im trying to build 2 diferents amplifiers, one with chipamps and other with discrete components!

there are some datasheets right there where you can find application circuits
i believe the whole circuit (minus power supply) should be under 10 elements for the lm3886. i'm actually about to build a 4780 myself, be sure to post as you make progress!
