i want to build an audio amplifier that will put out in the neighborhood of about 25 watts r.m.s. i don't want to use IC's and want to keep part count to a minimum. i also want to keep cost's to a minimum. i want something easy to build as this would be my first real project. any schematics would be greatly appreciated. i have done a lot of searching and most of what is out on the internet is beyond me. i am fairly flexable as far as choices and i am by no means set on the above. I just want a low cost, easy to build amp that will put out a fairly decent amount of power.
Small part counts
How about JLH Class A 1996, that was my very first DIY of any kind. Good result first attemp.

Besides the "home" URL there has been quite a bit of discussion on this amp here on the forum.
