I have a Samsung TV with that signature "tinny" built-in speakers. The TV is dedicated for sports 😎 and news bulletins. It doesn't need to be having "audiophile" grade sound but the space available is very limited. Cost is also a concern too.
I like the TABAQ but I cannot keep them standing on the floor (kids). So, I want to build sort of a sound bar and mount it just below the TV on the wall.
Would a horizontally aligned mini TABAQ work ?
Can you guys suggest any other ideas ?

Yes , it's the VFM option as there are a lot of cheap soundbars available.
But, wheres the DIY in that ?
Budget : 60 USD max.
By the way, can I use the popular Tymphany TC9FD drivers ?
well what you could do with your tabaq is to mount one just to try if you like it horizontal.. as for alignments i wouldnt worry too much as you say you don't want audiophile sound..
i have just looked at the tabaq speakers .. they are full range only one driver per cabinet. i Really wouldn't worry about mounting them horizontally.
Ok, my fault.
I'm building a sub and I'm sure I can scavenge some plywood sheet. Regarding amp, I can source a TPA 3116 amp for like 12USD from Amazon.
