charge pump
what do you all think the practical limit for a charge pump would be?

single phase, two phase, or three phase?

say double or triple in put dc with coresponding reduction on curent of course..........

going from 12v to 24 volts at say 50 amps in?

I have only seen charge pump voltage doubler supplies
for comparingly low currents.

I do think you should try some switch mode chips (SMPS)
for higher currents power supplies.

The efficiency of SMPS, I think, is much higher (% power out vs. power in)
and also the precision.
