Hi !
I need help with changing the clock of Pioneer DV300 with more precise one but I do not have any experience with that. I use it like CD transport and I really like it how it performs.
As an attachment I upload the service manual of Pioneer DV300.
I would like to use the one in the following link which promises to be quite good:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/330...!sea!BG!1854486564&curPageLogUid=SijbBkbFptSo
But may be I choose a wrong one. .., Please any one if can help me ..
Thank you in advance !

Wouldn't suggest one from Aliexpress myself. It might end up being a downgrade. Place people often go for better CD player clocks is: https://www.tentlabs.com/Components/XO/index.html ...List of available frequencies near bottom of the page.
I have external Pro-ject DAC which sound quite good in my system and I use it mainly with Ifi streamer to listen music from Tidal.
Till now I used Marantz SA7001 like CD transport to the Pro-ject DAC because in this way it sound better then the internal DAC in the Marantz.
Few weeks ago I found on internet Lampizator mode of Pioneer DV300 and because this player is very cheap ( I bought it for 25 Euro with remote control included in excellent condition) I decide to give it a try.
Strange but this DVD player used like a CD transport sounds very holographic in my system if I compare it with the streaming and the Marantz like CD transport. Just very airy sound with more small fine details.
So I decide to try to make it even better. I am going to change the power supply with linear one, change the clock, make some things to absorb the vibrations etc.

Hm, interesting. In this case look for a low jitter clock. I myself use a Neutrino clock made by NewClassD. It is very good quality and reasonably priced.
Do not fall into the trap of "precision" clocks, TCXO-s and the like. Absolute frequency stability is not important. Low jitter @10hz from fc is that matters.
