change the lamp of Hitchi proector

Hi

I read before that it is hard to change the lamp of old company projector because there isn't enough space for strong MH lamp.
The price of the projector without the lamp is 150$ (cheaper then LCD panel from ebay) it has 3 panel LCD with 800X600 I can turn on the projector without the original lamp.

So I was thinking to take apart the projector and rebuild the case for it and then there will be room for the lamp .

The size of the LCD is 0.7".Is it to small?
What lamp should I use?
Will I need a condenser,uv filter (or something else) ?

the size of the LCD isn't 0.7"
