A few days ago, my "home" page in diyaudio changed. Much of the formatting has gone away, the background color is now absent. Change appeared on two different systems, both running Firefox. I've cleared the cache with no change. Same effect with IE 11. If this is intended, I prefer the old layout... thanks jay
Background can sometimes disapear when you do not successfully load the full code of the page. I get that when the forum is running slow.

As well as clearing the browser cache try running a full disk clean as well.
Also as a test try switching to Google DNS.

Since I get exactly the same appearance on two systems and IE11 as well, I doubt it's "disk clean" time. Plenty of space on both systems. Attaching a screen shot of what I now see.. http://jayplesset.info/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Diyaudio.jpg
The style sheet is not loading for you. Depending on your browser you might be able to find the error message as to why that file didn't load.
I believe currently (it changes whenever we adjust the stylesheet to force a cache break) the url for the colors/etc CSS is:
http://files.diyaudio.com/forums/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-2cecccb0-00010.css
You might try hitting that URL and let me know what error you see, after following this:
Refresh your cache - When hitting F5 just isn't enough!
