Cerwin Vega plate amps

Hello all,
I was just looking at the Apexjr site and saw the Cerwin Vega plate amps. They are really inexpensive for the power output.
Has anyone had any experience with these amps?
I am a bit tempted to buy one.

Well worth it,

A friend of mine and myself used a 140watt CV plate amp (purchased in NZ, but it was new, factory end of line) to power a 12" responce sub (I know, complete crap) and it cranked it something fierce. great little amps if your just building a little powered sub

Hate to resurect this one from the dead, but I just ordered a few of these plate amps and was looking for some project information on these.

Has anyone used these amps in a project?
