hi all
I have the chance to purchase one of the above speakers but am not sure which is better
any cv heads out there that can advise ? both are in vg condition
I like the look of the at15 better but the 315 are still nice

They look perfect to me. The podium and 22KHz tweeter make perfect sense. I'd go with the vintage pair (wood?), in my living room.
hi Iductor
I,m undecided on the podium but I am sure it will grow on me
the tweeter is also meant to be ok on the at15 whereas the e315 is not meant to sound as good
I know they are not audiophile speakers but I just love the look and for rock I think they would be awesome
cheers Sheafer

Listen and decide?
I have a pair of AT-12 that I always liked for party speakers. The quoted crossovers are 400 and 3kHz, I think in reality it is a fair bit higher, since the midrange resonance (same mid as in your speakers) is 600Hz 😉...
I haven't actually measured them as a system, since I have a pair of DIY's that are quite flat (and much more transparent/revealing). I use the AT-12's as subs/stands for them and they work fairly well for that 😉
For Sound output / $, hard to beat the CV's. They are not much more than noisemakers, but they started my interest in this hobby.
FWIW, I have a set of $40/pair Sony bookshelfs that are more neutral than the CV's, but won't go as loud....
hi all
thanks for the answers
I cant listen to them first so I will just take a punt and grab them
I can always update the drivers or convert them to active later on
cheers
