Alright, I have been trying to figure this one out for a while now. What is the RMS and max power handling of the Cerwin vega 189E?
In the Earthquake system they ran a bridged BGW750 for about 1 minute, and then let it rest for many minutes.
A few had to be replaced.
With a 2" coil I would expect 150W RMS for a couple of hours (in a proper cabinet).

So, 225 into each channel at 8 ohms, 360 into each at 4 ohms, and 720 bridged into 8 ohms. And at 57 lbs that thing was a boat anchor. lol So, the vega was asking for more than 720? Someone told me that my crown xls 2500 would keep it happy. Seen a few 189e's for sale lately and wanted to make sure first.
