Ok everyone this is going to sound daft, but i have av high quality audio mixer which has two inputs switchable between mag & ceramic cartridge inputs, what i want to do is retain the mag input but convert the ceramic to a line input ! any ideas or circuits would be greatfully appreciated.

It all depends on how your RIAA EQ network is built into the circuit. You would probably want to rewire your selector switch and bring in the LINE-IN at the "end" or nearly the end of your gain stages.

Hi Hanginon is there a set standard for ceramic cart output or should ijust try it by pluggingin acd player and listening to se whether it over drives the signal/
