Center finding jig

While reading up on router jigs I found the center finding jig in Bill Hylton's "Router Magic" book.

I made that but then thought of another application: finding the center to re-size a speaker cutout.

The principle is shown here:

and I like the pictures given to show how it works.

For resizing a speaker cutout you would need a sacrificial board to cut through
to the existing opening. The technique looks like a good one.

I'm thinking about pairing this technique with a flush mount non circular pattern for the FE167e. This has been a goal for years.

That's cool. Knowing me though...lining things up has been a PITA.
