CDP-605ES Error amp bias adjustment

Thanks for the help. I'll print your advice for the next time I get inspired. Somebody gave me an old vintage turntable (seems higher end or at least moderate) from the late 70s that I have moved on to to restore. My success should be better on that even though I don't own an LP (but the wife does). Learning a lot about TTs now.

Physics hasn't changed. What made a great table in the 1970's still holds true. I used to sell Thorens, along with other "stuff". Those old Thorens tables still outperform new ones. Because the line frequency is locked to the GPS, they don't need crystals. I have a few Thorens tables, and others. Phono cartridges have come a long way, as have speakers.

What table do you have? I still get them in for service.
