Wat is the problem as after 50% playing a cd, the laser get's skip and search?
After this he give's a error. Turning off the power helps for a few minutes, after that, it all starts again.

Hi, Korben
If it were a Sony I would say the flatcable attached to the laserunit is broken.
But it isn’t a Sony.
So, first thing to do is clean the lens.
Look for bad solderjoints, also in the powersupply.
Second thing to do is waiting for CDM4 experts to come along.
Meanwhile search the forum on broken Cd-players.
There are a lot of good threads on the subject.
This is one of them:

Marantz CDM4.d36
I found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the laserunit ( I put a laserunit from a CDM4.19 into the CDM4. d36).
I'm very proud because Marantz didn't notice the problem and thought it was a servo/gain problem.
After six years of unemploymend the player is as good as new.
