I've read some of the CD player threads and it seems that many gravitate towards the older quality equipment, like the Revox, older Phillips and Magnavox CD players. Also recommended for a single tray CD was the Marantz CD-94, though I see the Marantz CD-6x's are popular too. What are your thoughts on the Denon CD players? Also the Nakamichi CDP-2A's? The one's on Ebay have gone unpurchased. Any reason why? Finally, the JVC DVD player we're usin at the house has a PDA type process. Are the older dual 16 bit processors better? 20 bit? I want to primarily play music and there seems to be a lot of good deals on the Denon equipment.
