Cd-player SM5843+SM5861 replacement??

Hello all.

I have an cd-player with SM5843 + SM5861 + LcXO2 + Zapfilter 2

Could I replace SM5843 +SM5861 with PCM 1794?

A circuit with upsampling for this could also be great

Havee any off you experience you like to share?

Here is a blockdiagram for the Dac in my cd player.

Please I need some advice about connecting a PCM1794 to the out of CDX2500.

Yes you can🙂

Use the 48bit output from the CXD2500.

Set pcm1794 to:

2s complement->16bit standard format->MSB first-> right justified.
