I have a Wolfson DAC a wm8726 idk how to use it find no documentation on the internet and i have some microcontrollers layin around i thought to make something out of it i also have a headphone amp too i thought to make desktop amp if anyone know how to use it or any code would be very helpful
There is a datasheet at: https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/76/wm8726-1160261.pdf Often that's all we have to go on. Have to learn how to read it, then figure out from what it says how you want to run the chip. Presumably you have a scope and a DVM at least, in order to play in this area of audio?
Its an I2S chip, so you'll need a microcontroller that can interface I2S and generate the clocks jitter-free.
Can't see why you need a microcontroller for such a simple chip. There is nothing there to program. A DIR9001 and a TPA6120A2 would be much more useful for a headphone amp.
