Small tip:
The lightbulb in series with the mains trick is very useful when working on the C-Audios. I actually find the best way is to solder a 60W lightbulb (on flying leads obviously) across the soft start fuse holder instead of fitting a fuse. Wiring it in the mains input will quite often cause the soft-start and bulb to oscillate on and off! Also means if the amp is ok, the soft start relay will short the bulb as well and the amp will run normally.
