I've borrowed a digikal camra. The little grey boxes are the cast ones.

as soon as i can work out how to make the pictures smaller i will post them, i keep getting the file is too big message
No No No, I cast them in an polyester and carbon fibre mix, I still can't resize the photos. And my children are not here to do it for me 🙁 A friend has told me to convert from bitmap to gif, but i can't work out how. Any help will be welcome and will result in pictures. 🙂
Load the pics in windows paint (start/programs/accesories/paint) and go to the file tab, choose save as, and in the "save as type" box choose gif or jpg, jpg is better for pictures, gif is better for line drawings/plans.
Not only are the files too big, but you probably have too many pixels. Load up the image in Paint, then Select All and Image/Stretch it down to 480 x 320. Then save as JPEG and you will be able to upload a <50K file.

if they are not too big, you could email them to me, and I'll resize them, then host them with my ISP, then attatch them to a post... 🙂 lol
Hi Peter,
They were made in a silicon rubber mould, they are lined with mdf, insertion rubber sandwhich. I'll take some photos to show the internals. The outside is a combination of colours i had left from other pours. The finished colour is therefore unique 🙁
It is a bluish, purplish, pinkish grey the pics don't do it justice. when i get the chance i'll post pic's of the ones i made for my kids.

Hello Pete,
UUUUMMMM NO
The grey boxes were made in 1997 and still aren't finished. The straight sided boxes are hard to make 🙁 curved boxes (enclosures?) are dead easy 🙄
If you want to make a set of boxes i can help you with the process, material guide and a phone # for when things go wrong.
I learnt this technique by trial and error and 100's of pacific pesos in material. I'd be frightened to work out the labour
