this is with normal Fets. To do this with a JFET as inputdiff pair it is at least neccessary to lower the bias and change the upper resistors accordingly. I will try it if I have some time left......

Come to think of it, what is wrong with using a mosfet with low input capacitance instead of a JFET? Should it not turn out just about the same?

well somehow it doesn´t. Read Nelsons remarks on the Aleph-J. It seems that there is a sonic difference between Fet and Jfet.
Cascoding will make the input capacitance very low (my X-BOSOZ has a -3dB point over 1.4MHz) with either FEt or JFEt

More specifically, a MOSFET versus a JFET. In general it appears
that JFETs are quieter and more linear then MOSFETs.
