If you don't plan on selling, take a look at Monolith Magnetics

Based on the orientation of the lamination, it does not even look like a single ended output transformer! Typical SE OPT has only one 'line' across the stack.
Weird...
I have my own not so positive experience with Cary but I'll keep it to myself. You have my sympathy.
That's unfortunate, Cary used to have a side business that sold parts, including their transformers. I bought several power transformers. Sounds like they don't think they have any responsibility, guess that's the nature of a warranty. While something in the 2.5k to 3k range would probably be right, hard to know what primary current Cary ran. I seem to recall some pretty generous output power numbers so they may have run the 300b's pretty hot. Jack at ElectraPrint is always great to talk with, I'd get their take. That being said, $200 for a decent quality SE transformer seems pretty reasonable to me. Might be a good opportunity to upgrade?
