unfortunately, yes -- i'm not the first person who's been inside of this amp. the caps on the low voltage rails are kludged with shoddy replacements, and i'm assuming that the high voltage caps were trashed by the technician who previously tried to fix the amp.
thanks for the quick response. insofar as i'm going to have to build a custom board for those unobtainable oddball double caps that are used on the low voltage rails, i guess its not too big of an inconvenience to have to build a custom board for the high voltage rail caps. i was just hoping that somebody might know of a suitable in-stock replacement. anyone?

Not sure if you've already looked, but ucccaps.com (chemi-cons outlet store) has 6800uf 160v for $17.59 and 5600uf 150v for $9.62
