Phono Cartidge Test LP
Hi
there are a lot of LPs for cartridge tests. Here few which might be usefull:
From Denon:
RIAA System Test, Denon Audio Technical Test Record, XG-7002 Pickup Test
Side A Very high frequency sweep 1kHz-50kHz
SideB Very low frequnecy sweep 3Hz-1kHz
RIAA System Test, Denon Audio Technical Test Record, XG-7003 Pickup Test
Mechanical Impedance Measurement
Reference Level
Polarity Test
RIAA System Test, Denon Audio Technical Test Record, XG-7004 Turntable Test
Wow&Flutter measurement
Rumble measurement
RIAA System Test, Denon Audio Technical Test Record, XG-7005 Turntable Test
Sweep frequency 20Hz-20kHz
Spot frequency
1/3 Octave Band noise
From Shure
Shure Trackability Test record TTR115, for test of tracking of the cartridge depending on recording level

Tanks for starting this
Subscribed as well.
I have foloved discussion about mismatch of channels
Could you try to swap plugs (left to Right) and see when difference moves
If is cartridge swap pre imputs if ofset moves be very interesting to see how muc you can corect this by adjustment.
If oset moves with svap of preamplifier you may be able to corect this with the gain settings on the scope so no problem there (apart that I would look at the preamplifier to corect this)
If ofset moves when swapping Scope imput there is a problem with the scope easy rectified with calibration or compensated with

AFAIK there is no modern record with an accurate frequency sweep or series of spot tones (I tried them all). ......
RIAA System Test, Denon Audio Technical Test Record, XG-7005 Turntable Test
Sweep frequency 20Hz-20kHz
......
Is there any test record with linear frequency sweep 20-20 000Hz ?
I mean the one all frequencies are equally ballanced but not necessarily amplitude..
Like SY, I have also used the Shure test LP to adjust anti-skate. I have a number of other old test LPs (one for Quadraphonic) that I use, as well a mono pressings. I record the tracks onto the computer and look at them in editing or analysis software.
Haven't tried to do it live on the o'scope, but would like to learn more! Thanks for the thread.

If there is anybody who recorded frequency sweep 20-20 000Hz from vinyl test record to computer please send it to me for my private reseach at the adress : dzius101@wp.pl
Many thanks in advance.
