I found this CDA lost in my collection.
I remember that when I bought it I thought it should be a good recording and interpretation.
Well, I don't want to open the eternal audiophile discussion again, but sound-wise, I like my LP played on an MC cartridge better than this "DDD" edition.
The orchestra is Salsburger Mozarteum Chor und Orchester, conducted by Kurt Prestel.
I'm never excited to hear it, obviously that's why I'm forgotten.
Evidently mine is a case of "reminiscences of youth", it must be the mental images that are accompanied only by listening to my vintage LP. Will it be serious? Will I have to see a psychologist ? 🤔 🤣

I have two, Atlanta/Shaw by Telarc and Philly/Ormandy Sony on DSD. I'm relistening to the Telarc now. I'd forgotten what a gem the piece is. My mother was in a chorus that did it back in the 80's.
"Pictures of an Exhibitionist" was what we called it. A popular piece of music for sure. Ravel's orchestration is a masterwork.Pictures at an Exhibition
