Carl Huff

My beloved husband of 21 year, Carleton Howard Huff, has passed away on October 30, 2024. He was the kindest, smartest, most loving human being I ever known. He often talked about how much he enjoyed this forum, interacting with people from all over the world and learning new things. Thank you for sharing your life with me. I will always love you and cherish all of the wonderful memories we have together. This is not a goodbye. It is until I see you again.
Your loving wife as ever, Elena Huff

I'm very sorry indeed to hear of this Elena.

Carl was a much valued member of this forum and I know myself along with many others enjoyed reading about his many projects and adventures in the audio field. He will be much missed.

Sorry to hear this news, Elena. I am the person who bought the JBL speakers, active crossover, and Carl included four amplifiers in the deal. I could barely fit it all into my Honda CR-V. Since then, I retired and moved back home to Albuquerque, NM and will always remember Carl when I see the JBL speakers you and he sold me.

All my sympathie with you Helena.

I had the luck to follow one of his project around a preamplifier device assembling he leaded, sending pcb and support, with a constant kindness. Beyond his hobby, I saw in him a real gentleman. He was generous and inspiring.

RIP Carl Huff, thank you so much for what you did here.

So sorry to hear this; I hope you had a wonderful 21 years and wish it could have been more. Carl was a very smart and generous guy. He provided me a ton of help when putting together the pre-amp from group buy he organized.
My Sincere condolences.

My most sincere condolences to you, Elena, and the family and friends.

I’m saddened to read this. He was always such a tolerant and friendly person.

Just a few months ago, Carl and I were discussing printed circuit boards. In my view, he was an iconic member, and his efforts found a special place here.

Thank-you Elena for sharing your beautiful expression of love for Carl. Your marriage surely contributed to his helpfulness here.

His insights helped me to design a wonderful loudness compensation circuit for my pre-amplifier that Judy and I use and enjoy often.

Blessings,

David
