Right, I've been trying to get an answer to this for weeks now.
I have a "CD 30 MP3 car radio" head unit with a paired display.
The wiring loom doesn't come with the connector in order to connect the display.
I know it is possible to connect the radio with the display without it being in a car as I've seen pictures of it. The pictures never show the back and nobody can or wont tell me how to connect the display to the head unit. I can make up my own loom however I need to know just a couple of simple things which shouldn't be that complicated.
How many wires connect from the display to the head unit? and where do they go to?
Please please could somebody reply because I'm losing my damn mind over this.

I'd have to say refer to the installation/owners manuals. From what I know, this forum is mostly for assistance in repairing electronics but if i'm wrong anyone can feel free to chime in. Good luck!
There is no user manual anywhere unless you contact Vauxhall who will charge a lot of money for it, besides the manual would likely be useless as it will just tell you how to plug cables in and fit it to the car.
I don't have a wiring loom so that info would be useless. Its something simple like two wires from the display to the head unit plus power.
I can not power either of these on because if the display is not connected or not connect correctly then the head unit will lock up and a code will then be needed by that time the stereo will be spare parts/useless.

Also I just wanted to add that this is an electronics project which will hopefully be made into a novelty home hi-fi system.
Have you tried to find a forum for the original vehicle that this came out of to see if they could help?
