Car Amplifier Question

I would test this myself, but I'm dorming at school and wont be back home soon. Do car amplifiers putout ~12 volts to the speaker? I know my rack mount amplifier will putout up to 85 volts for the speaker, wasn't sure what the car amplifiers Vp was.

power = voltage * voltage / resistance

ur rack 85 volts into 4 ohm speaker is
85*85/4 watts= 1806.25 watts

ur rack 85 volts into 2 ohm speaker is
85*85/4 watts= 3612.5 watts

almost all car head units will put 10 volts at the most. coz they use car battery and don't step up the voltage
10*10/4= 25 watts, i see 15-20 rms most of the time, around 20 rms bad distortions

car amps depends, they step up power supply
500 rms car amp will pump what volts in 4 ohm speaker
500= voltage * voltage /4
voltage= 44.72volts
the same 500rms amp may pump more voltage if the rms is 500 but it can peak 600rms
like my sony xm1s car amp does 500watts at 2ohms rms, but 900 watts peak.

500 rms car amp will pump what volts in 2 ohm speaker
500= voltage * voltage /2
voltage= 31.62volts
