My old restored Pioneer tape deck misses the washer that goes in front of the capstan bearing.
I've measured 2.5mm for the capstan diameter.
I have an VCR washer kit, but it only has clips and slotted washers.
There are many washer kits online but I believe the inner diameter must be lower than say M2.5 in order to snug fit.
Any ideas where to find one or how to build a new one ?
By the way, what is the best place nowadays to order new belts ? It is working with a belt kit from Revox Ebay seller now.

About a year ago I bought some Chinese made ones on Amazon in a variety of sizes - they have worked fine so far. Might want to have a look there. I think they are also on Aliexpress and eBay.
