Capacitor Question

I found a couple caps out of spec when rebuilding this amp .
The caps are Sam young

Wondering if these would be a good replacement for the power supply filter caps ?

Probably not the best option. For the primary filter caps look for:

105° temperature rating
low or ultra low ESR

Would these be a better choice ?
what would be a good rating for the esr ? When looking at caps I’m not sure what to use as far as the esr goes

Those are better. If you know the amp to be hard on caps, the following may be an even better (but more expensive) option.

I ordered the filter caps for the amp . The ones I pulled off the board are 3300UF 25V.

I didn’t realize this until I ordered them but the schematic shows 3300UF 35V

Wondering if I will be ok with the 25V or should I see if I can switch them before they pull the order ?

The higher voltage caps likely have a lower ESR. Will the 35v fit in the allotted space on the board?

Higher voltage is better if it fits. But for a car system you also want 105C and low ESR.
