Capacitor Manufacturer Information/Recommendations

Hello All -

I'm looking to buy a cheap 1 farad capacitor w/digital display for a 250W amp. (I'm not building an amp; this is so my lights won't dim).

Right now, I'm looking at an American Accesories Powercap 24V 1 farad capacitor with digital display for $80.

Does anyone own one of these or know if they are any good? I don't really care about the display, but it's the only capacitor I could find whose tolerances are +/- 5% for less than $80.

Do you really need tolerance as low as +/- 5% ? Power supply filter capacitors usually are -10 +50%... Better is waste of money.

Alright

A lot of people have been telling me what not to get, but have not made any recommendations for what to get.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I should do and buy?
