Hey - didn't you canucks read properly - and yes, I am an immigrant and as my name indicates a kraut = german, but I rather have 1 million chinese immigrants here that 100 americans - personal preference, the food is better.
If over 50% did vote for GWB, shouldn't the rest stay there to clean up the mess that their candidate allowed to happen because he was incompetent in electioneering.
Yes, I agree that those who want to flee do so for perfectly understandable reasons, and are among the cream of the crop, but that doesn't mean I am welcoming those as they bear part of the blame the way things turned out. Sounds rather arrogant for a kraut, eh?
But - after what happened in american foreign politics from the time I grew up - starting with vietnam through guatemala, chile, el salvador, iran (remeber the schah and how he got in), cambodia, -should I stop? ok, let's finish with an unprovoked attack based on a ludicrous preemptive strike policy that makes adolph look like a kindergarten teacher -do you expect me to really like a people that let this without much protest (vietnam being the glorious exception). If I wanted to have americans around I would have immigrated there or stayed in krautland - that by the way is still an occupied country without an armistice.
I like certain american people - artists among them mostly - but the big unwashed - let'em stay where they are. They too rail against immigration like heck, let em eat their own medicine.
Just because I have to be thankful to one time have been granted the privilege to come here - which I am very appreciative of - doesn't mean I have to like a neighbour coming here because they are too stupid to elect politicians that not make a mess of their country or are now involved to create the American Empire - good luck, but please - stay where you are and solve your own problems, we have enough trouble being governed by a corrupt liberal party.
You can swear at me all you want and try to maybe send me to syria - seems to be a nice place to send canadian suspects too for interrogation - but I am not going to change my mind on that.

RUSSIA WORKING ON NEW NUCLEAR WEAPONS
thats the result of a STATEMAN'S (I want to be seriously polite) attempt to build a missile shield and abrogate previous treaties single handedly.
And our ...holy politicians even contemplating to engage ....
Personally, if people want to move to Canada for political reasons, I don't want to stop them. Let them pay 50% or more in taxes and get their free health care. Let them sit in a waiting room for 8 Hrs just to get stitches or a broken bone set. I would rather pay less up front and have more choices as to who's services best suit me. Competition is key to quality. 😀
really? does the us have the best healthcare in the whole world?cunningham said:Competition is key to quality. 😀
Anothe piece of canadian truth by somebody who should really know - an AMERICAN - congrats for your informative contribution.

Jesusland? What about the 49% of the people in "Jesusland" that voted for Kerry?
nice how censorship works. You are allowed to kill but please do not swear - it hurts my ears. I guess any adult can fill in the blanks

We - under those circumstances - could contemplate relaxed immigration rules😀

time to make up your mind, don't you think? 😉
My mind is made up - i do not want you to stop from immigration to provinces that were formerly states and to which you might have sentimental connections - just do not enter the canadian heartland. Alberta actually will join JL as far as rumour has it. 😀
nah, I won't, i always walk... i also have a mobile computer 😉audio-kraut said:and roibm - can you please settle down - it makes me nervous
