The Bliesma doesn't look like it will be easy to make a waveguide fit
Do you mean that protective grille is hard to take off? It "should" be easy enough.
OR something other in design?
"Protective grille is made of stamped steel with a smooth powder coating. Acoustic transparency is at least 65-70%. There are no any unpleasant sounds when tapping with a finger on it. Despite the fact that in the picture you can see the speakers without a grille, in reality it is not removable and is glued into a narrow groove in the mounting flange. For DIYers - in case of critical need, it can be removed without any problems."
I was thinking between those two, and in a ideal world i could go somewhere and hear them both and make decision.Going by @HiFiCompass's subjective remarks, the paper version seems rather interesting to me.
I think the paper probably is better on whole of those two.
The thing is im very sensitive to sibilance, even some paper middles sometimes sound a bit too "dry?" for me. I also have right now a listening space that in finnish we call "betonibunkkeri" what means concrete apartment with lots of hard surfaces, so not a good combination..
Listening space situation will probably redeem itself next year, but not completely.
Right now the speaker that i can listen music in space. like this is wharfedale Denton 80th, that has a soft dome tweeter:
"“…If you just want to sit back, relax and listen, we can’t think of a rival at this price point that will suit you better. With that smooth treble, a full-bodied mid-range and a rich bass combine to deliver an easy-going sound that remains undemanding to listen to no matter how harsh the recording” – What Hi-Fi?"
and i had to smooth even these with russian pio-caps bypass, so i think that for me, it will be better to play it safe with silk for now.
Problem is that it's so big and so expensive that it literally solves nothing compared to a decent 7" midwoofer and you still need a better than average tweeter to cross <2kHz due to CTC spacing. Maybe, just maybe, it makes sense with two 10" woofers but that's really going down the path of excess rather than one of economy. The ATC SM75-150 and the Volt VM752 domes will happily go down to 400 Hz or so.
Something like an RS52AN is far better bang for buck. Pairs well with a pair of middle of the road 7" woofers and an ordinary 1" tweeter and completely hides their deficiencies, something that extremely few other drivers could.

I heard this for 3 songs, listened it on offaxis and onaxis. Mostly acoustic singer songwriter with one more dynamic faster song with drums and electronic instruments.
There was wide sweetspot, it sounded quite same whether you were onaxis or offaxis. Driver integration was absolutely seamless from top to bottom, tonality was neutral on bit smooth side. Soundstage was wide and had realistic height, though i would have preferred even more height.
Detailed, airy, sharp instrument placement. Overall excellent in pure "hifi" terms.
Only it was somehow.. timid?
I expected bigger, closer feeling of singer and instruments. It was very even and polite, no loudness or anything like that. The band stayed close to the speakers, there was not feeling of "big soundfield close to you" that i like, so i was left little disapointed.
Maybe it was because it was toned to be "monitor" speakers, maybe i don't like the way middomes in waveguides present soundstage. Staging is much better for my taste in yamaha ns1000, that has not waveguide in middome.
I don't know but little disappointed anyway.

Later at home i looked trough finnish hifi forum to see what rooms people have liked the most, and unsurprisingly this was one of the most liked.
Room was very small (much worse than my own), but it still managed to sound very good.
This is 2 way speaker, with supertweeter on top. Surprisingly elements are not that expensive, Peerles nomex 164 and Morel DT30.
(not counting the supertweeter)
I sat trough several songs, acoustic, electronic, singer&songwriter stuff, this one was very much what i hoped to hear from pmc.
Wide sweetspot, tonally midrange was very smooth (highs were little too hot though), dynamical fast sound, good bass for a standmount.
Soundstage was exactly what i was looking for, totally free from speakers with very good height and width. Big sound that took you close to the performers, but still quite deep soundstage.
Very good performance, but still too hot on the tweeter.
Well..
I had hoped that this would have been clear winner with pmc, so i could just order the parts and start building, but it seems there are many ways to skin the cat..
It seems i have to do more testing on what i like, and what kind of topologies will work for me.
There is a plan forming, more soon about it..
