Most suppliers have a few different sizes of flat plates, round, square and rectangle terminal cups. You wouldn't necessarily need a recessed type; you could use a flat plate instead. Of course, what ever you use must make an air tight seal including new terminal posts. Some of these come with rubber or foam gaskets, others may not.
