This looks totally familiar yet I can't seem to find a match in google let alone digikey. Only visible markings are "MX" and "14D".

Correct. The datasheet only mentions horizontal headers.

You go directly to the mfr site and find the item there. Distributors do not sell all types of all parts, since there are millions.
