An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
i'm out of idea
what if you measure the continuity between the lead w/ the metal body?..but nou need to scratch the plastic insulation first.just a little scratch to let the probe touch the body 🙂

Hi Glenn,
If there is no + marking on this tantalum capacitor it is probably a military grade wet slug tantalum capacitor non-polar eteched foil type.
Hope this helps.
thanks tommy any good for feedback ?
Difficult to answer. You need to try to see if you like the result in your application. There is a thread about it here:

just put them in with some 10uf smr film caps on the input sounds good and can only get better 😀

if it does not violate the rules would add tis link
these capacitors seem very similar
ebay : 2pcs U.K STC / ITT 100uF 40V Acura Military Silver Wet Tantalum Capacitor CA51

yes.it's the same
and according to the ebay pic, there's + markings on the left of letters..so the orientation is left to right for input/output caps..

i have a mundorf bp and one of the leg was welded into the metal case
but if there's no "+" or any sign about the polarity, it should be np/bp 🙂

N.p. type by back to back connection (also electrolytics)
I think maybe suffering from progressive degradation
