Can you flip the image on a projector?

Hi guys,

I have a used Dell 3100 MP projector and I have a question on mounting the unit upside down.

The reason being, I want to mount it to the ceiling via an inverted tripod that hangs from the ceiling. (The user controls are on the top, and the tripod mount is only on the bottom)

Is there a function that will flip the image upside down so I can mount it upside down?

The way it is now, it looks like it can only be mounted on floor based tripod or on a table. Flipping the image would really help me out regarding accessibility to the buttons on top (so they will not be facing the ceiling if I box mount it)

Cheers!

Owen

yeah you can if your using a computer. Alot of graphics card have options to flip or rotate you screen. However if you need to rotate from another source, and your projector doesnt support this, then i guess do a google search and maybe (big maybe) there is something that will do that. It would have to read a whole frame of information, buffer it, the spit it out in a reversed order. So either way your screen would have to be 2 or more cycles off with your audio. So not sure you would want that.
