Proejction lens?
I'm almost sure that lens won't work. When they say that the lens is 50mm, they are referring to the overall length of the lens or sometimes even about the focal length, but hardly ever do they mean the diamter unless they explicitely word it that way. The lens that you were looking at has a near pin-hole opening, so I'm 90% sure that it's geared more for short FL film and stuff like that. Also, because of it's small diameter, you'd have a heck of a time focusing any light onto that lens, so your image would be so dim that you might not even be able to see it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I also wouldn't want you to spend money on something that probably wouldn't work.
