Hi All,
I am a Mechanical Engineer. So, I am not able to understand the full electrical terms. It is hard to find complete diy projects in India. So many DIY projects are with Dayton and other drivers but not in Peerless. Import cost doubles the price of those drivers from US to India. I have made Overnight sensations which sounds superb.Peerless drivers can be easily bought here. My doubt is can be can I use separately the 2 way i.e, Mid and tweeter from Paul's Tarkus design.? So that I can use as book shelf speakers.
So, in crossover I won't include Woofer components? Is it okay to do like this? Please advice

It'll require a redesign. The midrange will handle BSC solo, as well as not needing padded or highpassed to match the woofer anymore.
If I could wager a guess, and it's only a guess;
- Remove R3/R4/C2.
- Maybe increase L2 a bit to around 2mH at most. I doubt you'll need to go that high.
- Add resistor in front of C1, and adjust to taste.
You'll have to optimize the box response of the mid for bass range as well.
You can see why this might take some work.

Thanks Wolf teeth for your reply. Can I include all the crossover components and can be used as standalone?. So that I can add woofer separately or making the complete system is recommended?

If you don't want to redesign the Tarkus, as explained by Wolf, you can follow this finished design: http://www.hellsound.de/contents/de/BVSAK1R.pdf
The tweeter used is the Vifa/Peerless BC25TG15-04, the name in the PDF is the one used in the German market. There is also a project with the smaller 830656 and the same tweeter (StartAirKit 3R), I designed independently a speaker using this same combo.

Check the prices on SB_Acoustics drivers made in Indonesia.
"The Tributes" By Jeff Bagby would be a good 2-way with strong bass from a 6.5" for most listening.

If not properly designed in that way from the start it is often difficult to convert a 2-way into a 3-way or the opposite. Troels try to explain it here: whyCan I include all the crossover components and can be used as standalone?. So that I can add woofer separately or making the complete system is recommended?

Thanks Giralfino for your help. I am planning to do Paul's Tarkus as whole, StartAirkit 3R for surrounds and StartAirKir 4C for centre. I will post the pics soon
