I post on a lot of forums that use vBulletin and similar forum software and yet diya is the only one in which I have to explicitly specify br tags to break my lines. Why can't I just use two carriage returns to separate paragraphs like everywhere else? Is this configurable somehow?
I've always just used two carriage returns aka <enter> to space a new paragraph..
Like so.. I use Firefox.

If you use THE BASIC EDITOR,that doesnt happen (Plain text editor) -- I have used BASIC on many sites cause its the easiest for me...
I think Dude has hit upon it. I use the Normal editor (not plain text, not WYSIWYG). No problems.
Do you have the advanced editor turned on?

Do you have your browser set to disallow Javascript? I run Noscript, and I can have it "Forbid diyaudio.com" and it will show < br /> (but without the space between < and br) twice after your post. This (sentence) is after two carriage returns, but without the stuff I normally allow. Let's see...

That was it.
Again, this is after two carriage returns. I told Noscript to "Allow diyaudio.com" and this should really be on a separate line from my earlier sentence "That was it."

You can reply via email??? I'm guessing that would have the same effect as not running Javascript, and that would be the problem.Ditto here. No <br> needed.
One return
Two returns.
Are you using email to reply?
