Can the proview 15.4" acutally do 720p?
I was wondering can the proview 15.4" acutally do 720p? When I try to set it at that resolution it gives me a mode not supported but it is still running in the background. I mean I probably could just make a htpc and hook it up but I'm mainly interested in using a vga box. Is it acutally possible to adjust in powerstrip to support it? Thanks.

Well, yes and no. It doesn't support 1280x720 (ie 720p). This means if you plugged something into it and told the monitor to display 1280x720, it won't do it (ie a HD receiver, DTV, etc). BUT! If you use a computer for your projector, run the computer at 1280x800 (its native resolution) and play any movies you want through your computer at that resolution (you will have slim black bars on the top and bottom), then you can run 720p material.
So, you need to send 1280x800 to the LCD. Get an HD tuner for your PC and you should be able to run 720p TV with black bars on top and bottom because the real resolution is 1280x800 not 1280x720.
