Hi all,
I have a question that may be sounds too amateurish 4 u; Can TDA7370 (in single ended mode) drive a 2ohm load? Because in datasheet thay say "in bridge mode it can drive 4ohm" so it makes 2ohm in single! But they dont say that!
And a second question; as I can see in the block diagram of TDA7370, two of op-amps are in non-inverted and the other two are in inverted mode. So in one bridge+two single mode for example left channel will be inverted, right will be non-inverted! Does it make problem?
Thanks in advance

Hi Dxvideo,
I think it can drive 2 ohm loads but I don't think it is going to be pretty.
And for the 2nd question, just reverse the polarity on the speaker driven by the inverted stage.
Good luck

Thanks a lot. I need to drive 2ohm load because; in bridge mode it can drive 4ohm and gives 22W (15v) so if I use it for the sub and use other 2 channel for the sats, they need at least 10W per channel in a 2.1 system.

In general, for 4 ohms and less (2 ohms) paralleling of the amps would be better, for higher than 8ohms, bridge configuration has the advantage.
I dont use TDA7370s in parallel. Normally it gives 11W to 2ohm load per channel (or they say that!) Because in bridge mode two TDA7370 channel gives 22W into 4ohm load with 15v PSU. If I build a brige plus two single I must use 2 ohm for sats... Am I right?
