The panel has to be fairly cheap but still good quality and easy to take apart. I want to make an enclosed projector with a 250w metal halide bulb. Can someone post links to good cheap panels that I can easily connect to my pc using VGA. thanks.

You should look on ebay, but just try to find a quazie broken monitor,
i scored a 15inch Daewoo w/ good specs that had the backlight burned out for $26.50shipped😎 its a slightly exceptional deal, but you should be able to find one that has the backlight burned out for around $50. and who cares if thats broken because its going in the trash anyways😉

There are also LCD panels on ebay for under 50 bucks Australian dollar regularly, they were used o put ontop of overhead projectors the resolution is somewhat low 600x800 or there abouts...checp and easy though no stripping required all the connections are there to plug a pc into etc ... completely self contained units
