i want to make a little keychain with a few little audio samples and a little speaker inside of it. oh! i also want to make a sampler with like a minute of sampling memory, but that hard project will come after the little keychain that says "kiss my butt" and "shut up!"
if i find an old keychain thing while missle sounds in it, can i record over the missle sounds with something else?

as far as I know all those little keyring things use custom sound generator chips made in bulk, and I think any attempt to make one using available parts would probably end up the size of a fag packet...
