I just got my Sharp Qa-1800 projection panel today and so far I have hooked it up to a Computer, X-Box, and Satellite. All 3 worked fine except for one thing I noticed. The images would not fill the entire lcd.
As you can see in the image, it only fills the center of the lcd. (Excuse all the black lines, my fresnel lens is very badly scratched). If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please tell me. Or is it only supposed to fill that part of the lcd?
Also, if anyone has a manual for the Sharp Qa-1800, could you please send it to me? One more thing, if anyone has the same panel as I do, is the remote required to configure it properly, or can I do everything I need on the panel?
Thanks in advance,
David

No I do not have a remote for it. I am looking on ebay for one. If anyone here has one for sale, how much do you want for it?
Yes it has a reset button and I have tried that. Didnt affect it at all. I am happy with how it is though. I have the projector 16ft away from my screen and that projects about a 7ft tall image which is the perfect size for me. Also, I've read that the X-Box dvd player is horrible for lcd projection panels. I disagree with that though, my images look absolutly amazing with my X-Box. Also, the dark scenes look real good too. It might just be that I am in a basement so no ambient light gets in anywhere if I turn off the lights.

Don't know where you read that? The Xbox is really no better or worse than any other standalone DVD player.
