That's very logical; they're not meant to be used by the ordinary PC-user. It is a file format used by the PCB-manufacturers. You'll have to sent it to them and they can do something with it.

Hi Micke,
You can actually download some Gerber Viewers to read the files. Such as http://www.gerbtool.com.
Hope this will help.

I never tried before, but my P-Cad 2000 can read the gerber files and I think that I can put in an other format. I will try with the only one dispo in the download of Passlab.
What is the file's extension?
I am not very expert in Gerber but basically for GerberTool, you need to import your Gerber files and a drill file in order to view them. There is a selection called Gerber Wizard, and it will help you to select all the necessary gerber files.

Hi Folks,
Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I converted these and re-drew them years ago ;-)
You will find 2 GIF files (names obvious) under:
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~dkfinnis/passlabs/files/
These are 300dpi for printing on a laser. If you use different resolution the size will be wrong.
Cheers

Gordon, what do you think they use?
Magical computers?
Of course, they use your run of the mill PeeCees or workstations.
