That looks better. Have you replaced the electrolytics ? Area around that transistor and the two metal oxide resistors will run quite warm/hot I imagine.
Yes since cleaning the whole unit has been recapped. Except for the main filter caps i never change them, there always ok.
Regarding repairs, my boss told me to not even remove dust accumulated over the years. I did nevertheless. Also within a computer, using a pig-hair brush, killing the machine by static. So we got an electrically conducting brush. In my experience, common plastic-hair brushes are o.k.. Anyway it shows, that dirt in solid, fluid or even gaseous phase, when it comes to very high voltages, is the antagonist of electrics and electronics.
